The importance of Biblical repentance for your healing

Your repentance before God is important because God hears the prayer of the righteous. Psalm 34:17 "The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles." James 5:16 "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."

We become righteous not because we're a good person, but because of the sacrifice of Jesus for us on the cross. Jesus' righteous blood washes over us, over our sins and makes us clean in the eyes of the Father God. Repentance means we turn away from evil things we do in our lives and we turn to God and start doing good things for God in our lives. This does not mean you'll stop sinning sometimes; what this means is that we will understand what is good and what is bad that we do in our lives and we'll try to do good things with God's help.

Repentance starts with knowing what God likes and what He doesn't like what we do in our life. To understand God, we need to read our Bible. The more we read and reread it many times, the more we understand what God is like; what He likes and what He doesn't like. For example God doesn't like us to be drunk, to practice witchcraft, to live sexually immoral life, to become drug addicts, and anything that would defile God's holy temple where He dwells in us in our body. If you've done any of those sins in your life, repent before God right now and ask Him to forgive you.

The passage we read in James 5:16 tells us that we need to confess our sins to each other and to pray for one another. This can be done within the church where you attend. If you don't attend a church, find a local church where there are regular prayer meetings so that you can pray along with the congregation there. If you'll need references, email us and we can point you to some local churches in your area where you can start regularly attending. If you've never attended a local church, when you come to church the first time, make sure that you'll come to front of the altar to repent in front of everybody because Jesus said in Luke 9:26 "Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels" So, come to the front of the church and say something like, "I'd like to give my life to Jesus, I've been a sinner and I need Jesus in my life, please pray for me."

If you've done the above repentance procedure, know that your prayer is powerful and effective before God. Pray to Father God in the name of His son Jesus to heal you from panic attacks. Know that your prayer is heard and expect to receive your healing from panic attacks.
